Woodlake Golf Club long ago earned its reputation as one of the finest in the Southwest. That is why, for five years in the mid-1970s, the PGA TOUR brought its Texas Open here. It was the site of a memorable win for popular Ben Crenshaw who, in 1973, claimed his first TOUR triumph in his first tournament as a pro.
The Woodlake Golf Club is appealing to everyone who enjoys playing golf. While Woodlake is certainly the challenge that all low-handicap golfers look for from the back tees, the course becomes very user-friendly to all by simply playing from one of the other three sets of tee markers. Regardless of a golfer's skill level, all who play golf here will definitely enjoy the scenery at Woodlake.
The golf course is a perfect mixture of rolling terrain, trees and pristine lakes, which only adds more to the Woodlake experience.
