10th Annual Central Texas Amateur

Forest Creek Golf Club Forest Creek Golf Club in Round Rock is the site of the Central Texas Amateur. This years event marks the 10th anniversary of the Centex, know as one of the premiere amateur competitions in the Austin area. The championship will be held on July 19th and 20th at Forest Creek which has the reputation as one of best daily fee courses in Central Texas. The field is limited to the first 144 paid participants, and will fill quickly.

Entry forms may be obtained by downloading entry or by calling the Forest Creek pro shop at (512) 388-2874. 

The $200 Entry Fee includes; golf fee with cart, range balls, tee gifts, on course treats, dinner following Saturday’s round and prizes for 36 holes of stroke play flighted by handicap. Championship flight will be split into two flights after the first day, with a separate competition for Seniors (50+) in Championship flight. The Centex is open to amateur golfers with an established USGA handicap index. A $30 entry fee reduction is available for those wishing to walk rather than ride.

Championship & 1st flights will play from the Gold tees, while all remaining flights will play from the Blue tees.

ELIGIBILITY: Amateur Golfers with Established USGA Handicap Index

ENTRY FEE: $200 per player includes: Green fee and cart Sat. and Sun, teeprizes, range balls, course treats, dinner after Saturday round, and flight prizes.

DEADLINE: Mon., July 4th, 2008, 5pm. Field is limited to first 144 paid entries

PRACTICE ROUND: Available Mon.-Fri., July 14-18 at reduced rate
