The C.T.J.G.A. Returns to the New Braunfels Area

The Central Texas Junior Golf Association has appointed a new Executive Director and relocated its headquarters back to the Tri-county area. The new Director of operations is Tim Harford. Harford is a local New Braunfels golf pro and owner of Garden Ridge Golf Center. “Tim has spent the last 6 years building and developing the Garden Ridge Jr. Golf Tour and now brings his experience to the C.T.J.G.A. says David Ogrin, former C.T.J.G.A. Executive Director and current Champions Tour Member. 

“ I’ve known and   watched Tim for years develop his Jr. Golf program and knew he would be a perfect fit for the C.T.J.G.A.” We are also very excited to have relocated are home office to The Seguin Golf Club.  Daily business operations will be run from The Seguin Golf Club as well as tournaments and clinics.  All of the area golf courses are supporting us and each area course will host a variety tournaments and clinics for the C.T.J.G.A. The C.T.J.G.A. will host monthly Golf Tournaments open to the public and weekly summer events open only to members of the C.T.J.G.A.

Registration meetings will be held in New Braunfels, Seguin and San Marcos in the upcoming weeks.  Boys and Girls ages 7 to 18 are eligible for membership. Meetings will be held on April 3rd at Landa Park Golf Course in New Braunfels, April 7th at The Seguin Golf Club and April 10th at Quail Creek Country Cub in San Marcos. Meetings will start at 6:00 p.m.  Kids registered with the C.T.J.G.A. will receive discounted tournament fees at each open golf tournament, golf cap, golf shirt and bag tag  with their $60.00 annual membership fee.
